Thanks for the suggestion, but it didnt work...no option to 'transfer' given when device plugged into computer. Only option is "sync music onto phone" which is what I don't want. Need to reverse that sync. Any more suggestions? Thanks for your time.
You need to use the transfer purchase feature of iTunes.
