How can I tell if my iPhone XS is an eSIM?

I have an XS that I bought through Verizon. Does this phone have an eSIM so that I can add another Sim in a foreign country?

The iPhone XS has both a physical SIM card slot and the ability to use an eSIM. See the following from Use eSIM while traveling internationally with your iPhone - Apple Support

eSIM is available on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and later.
