My paper has a word limit. Problem: Pages counts this abbreviation, Cal.App.4th, as 3 words whereas Microsoft Word counts it as 1 word. I need Pages to count it as 1 word. My Pages version is 13.1 (7037.0.101) (Mac version 13.4.1)
You cannot make Pages behave like MS Word, and there is no means to change your text string to represent one word without transforming it to CalApp4th.
