I am sure you'll be shaking your heads at this somewhat crass question, but Hey! easy is what you know.

I'm a newbie having got fed up with MS (who doesn't) and transferred my allegiance to a new Mac Studio.

Excellent move, but ...

With a PC, I could set up my email client (Thunderbird) to ding me when a new email arrived.

Can't seem to find out how to do this on the Mac.

I'm sure such an obvious facility can't have been overlooked, but for the life of me, I can't find it.

Help?

Mac Studio, macOS 13.4

Ooops! To hasty with this question. A classic case of look up the book.

Found it under Settings>Notifications.

All is now sweetness and light.

I shall now retreat to my corner and recover from my embarrassment.

Sorry guys.
