Apple Compressor - can't download the version that works for me
Why does it have to be this way?
Multiple updates of Compressor fail. They just simply not work.
This time version 4.6.4, newly installed says: "Compressor doesn’t support running in a macOS virtual machine."
Version 4.6.3 was working fine, give it back! This is the worst experience. I could backup the app version, but so can Apple. Why release something that's not tested correctly.
In the past, I had multiple versions of Compressor, simply not work as well. You can't pick the version that works, it's a nightmare!
Version 4.6.3 works perfectly, GIVE ME A DOWNLOAD LINK FOR THAT!!!
If Adobe can do it, so can you. If Photoshop updates and it just doesn't work for me, I rollback a version that suited my machine, for whatever reason.
I'VE SPENTE HOURS OF MY LIFE WITH THIS ISSUE, MULTIPLE TIMES DURING MULTIPLE YEARS WHILE I'VE BEEN A PAYING CUSTOMER OF THIS SOFTWARE.
Please don't answer if your response is stupid like:
- You can download from the purchased page the lastest version compatible (that one never worked in my computer, for whatever reason)
- You are running OpenCore, unsupported Monterey version. (Compressor 4.6.3 worked fine, give me that)
3. If I run Catalina, nothing works!
What a battle! Turns out the best way is to save all Apple Apps in a Hard Drive, and sell the version to make up for all this struggle.
