Screen time not working
Screen time is on but my son can still watch you tube. I also have a time limit on you tube and it does not work. I’ve reset the iPad / settings and nothing. Any suggestions?

i found that chrome (playing web you-tube) was not honoring the screen time limits, but found a way to fix it.
- change your screen time password then …
- remove the ability to add/delete apps, this is a well known screen time hack that many kids know. See if this works. I try to make only one setting change a day.
- If you are still having trouble, add website filters (see below). You should only really need *.com and *.org, but I was irritated at YouTube so I added it, too.
by adding the websites filters, now everything seems normal again. I hope this works for you.
Generally, I am trying to hold my son accountable for his phone use, but summer is much harder with less structure and the set limits help.
