I just purchased the 10th gen iPad. I have always used the split keyboard and now I’m seeing that it isn’t available on this one? Or am I not able to find it? Will Apple do an upgrade for this? Very disappointing if not.
The Split Keyboard feature is not available on larger-screen models of iPad - such as the iPad10.
As outlined in the iPad User Guide, Split Keyboard is only available for these models of iPad:

Hold the keyboard button at bottom-right corner of keyboard and select “Split” to split the keyboard. You can also do it using a gesture: sliding to the outwards with 2 fingers.
