My portable charger won’t charge

I have a portable charger and it won’t charge. The orange light comes on when I plug it in but then turns off. What can I do to fix it? Or is it dead?

Are you referring to a 'powerbank’ type of portable charger? If so, is it an Apple product? If not, no one here can give you definitive advice: you should contact the manufacturer.
