Fast charging vs. regular charging

Whast is the recommended charger for iPhone 13 Pro and Mini? How many W?

Is it bad for my iPhone 13 Pro to always be charged with 20W charger? If I connect a 50 W charger to my iPhone 13 Pro, can it charge slower or is it fast charging no matter what?

The recommended charger is the Apple 20W unit.

No, it is not bad to always use it, the phone will slow its charge rate as it approaches 100% (slower after 80%).

The 3rd question is difficult to answer, it depends on the charger. I would not use 3rd party units.

Apple’s 20W power adaptor is the ideal device to charge ANY iPhone or iPad.

The actual charger is built-in to the iPhone or iPad so it will ALWAYS protect itself and only draw as much power from the adaptor as it needs.

The best advice to prolong your battery’s life is to simply enable “Optimized Charging” and leave your phone charging all night.

Thanks for your reply. The number 50W was a random number, so I'm not talking about 3rd party chargers. How about the 35W og 96W? Isn't the thing with fast charging that it charges faster than the normal charger. Won't it be faster than the 20W? Maybe just up to 80 % if I understand you correctly?
