How to update an iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 13.8

Unfortunately, you can not.

That model can be updated to iOS 12.5.7, no further.

It appears that you want to run apps that are requiring newer iOS versions. Frankly, you will need a new phone to be able to do this.

Didn't quite take the word “promote” for a software version upgrade.

An iPhone 6 Plus isn't capable of 13 or above.
