Invalid CORS request

I have just updated my Mohave to 10.14.6

Logged into my icloud account, and when trying to access - appleid.apple.com from my account just get

Invalid CORS request

this means I can’t update from within my account.

Clicking the link in an email from apply I can get in which takes me to Sign-In and Security page.

Is this a bug in the update please advise

Mostly you just need a more modern Browser than Safari on Mojave, or High Sierra like Firefox or Brave.

FWIW, Firefox 109.0 (current version) runs in High Sierra.
