If you mean text message this needs to be set up Forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your Mac or iPad - Apple Support

If you mean imessage look here If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you mean emails look here If you can't receive email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
