Is it possible to transfer iPhone text messages, including icons, to my iMac?

By transfer, if you meant to remove the messages from your iPhone and archive them on your Mac, then that is not possible.

What is possible is to sync your messages on your iPhone with your Mac. If this is what you are looking for then ensure that your iPhone and your Mac are signed on with the same Apple ID and Text Message Forwarding feature must be turned ON on your iPhone.
