To update your iPhone's iOS, go to 'Settings > General > Software Update' and if there are any updates, it will be prompted there.

I note that you are posting about iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 can only support up to iOS 12, iOS 12.5.6 being the latest version. You may wish to read the links provided below.
