Hearing aids disconnect since IOS 17.0.3 update I updated to IOS 17.0.3 yesterday and now I can not get my Iphone 14 to remain connected to my hearing aids, the minute I close the settings screen or the screen saver kicks in the hearing aids disconnect, which is extremely bloody annoying in the middle of a conversation. I tried turning off Bluetooth and disabling bluetooth in privacy & Security, then truned off the phone for a minute. I then restarted the phone, turned on Bluetooth and renabled bluetooth in privacy & settings, then reconnected the hearing aids without a problem, then I closed the Settings Screen and hey presto the hearing aids disconnected again, I also tested it by allowing the screen saver to initiate. This has only been happening since I upgraded yesterday 8 Oct 2023, I only got the hearing aids on Monday.

iphone 14 after install of ios 17.1.1 no longer connects to my Oticon hearing aids. After searches i learned this is not a new, unique, or isolsted problem. Too many folks are inpacted so when does Apple forecast a fix? Reading posts on the net say this is common problem. My only options are to have Apple fix iOS 17.1.1 OR change to another phone brand which I do not want.

Each hearing aid company is different. Please contact the Oticon or the hearing center where you got these. My husband has hearing aids. When he has problems connecting to his iPhone or iPad, his hearing center is very helpful.
