Why does my voice memo disappear in a very brief time after sent? Did it get delivered? This did not use to happen. What should I do?

If you are trying to send an audio message from within the Messages app, they will expire either after 2 minutes, 1 year, or Never, depending on your iOS version and settings. You can check which setting you have for this under Settings > Messages > Audio Messages, and can get more information in the Apple Support article Send and receive messages on iPhone - Apple Support.
