I need to turn off 2FA. Is there a solution to this horrible bug yet?

That is a User choice but have been using Apple Produces since 2004 and bak in the day of Motorola PPC with OSX 10.4 Tiger and never had any issues Controlling any and all Apple Devices I have owned.

The only lack of Control I have found, is not purchasing the latest Computer, iPhone on day of release.

Bad news: 2FA is more or less required by many services and Apple is not the only one insisting upon it.

Everyone is moving in that direction. Nobody wants to; the sad fact of life is that passwords alone are a weak security defense. They are easily and frequently exploited which results in widespread economic loss that everyone pays for.

In the short term, you might as well get used to it.

Good news: 2FA will eventually become supplanted by passkeys. It can't happen soon enough.

It is what it is. 2FA cannot be turned off.

As for devices, the code is sent to all of your trusted devices, so you can enter it from the one at hand.

You cannot turn off 2FA, nor would you want to do so.
