how can I put my phone in recovery mode without a macbook

My phone is stuck with a black screen with the apple logo. I press each of the volumes, and hold the power button, but it doesn't work. I don't have a macbook, how can I get my iphone to turn on.

iPhone XR, iOS 14

You will need to connect to a computer but it doesn't need to be a Mac. You can also use a Windows PC with iTunes installed. See instructions in: If your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo - Apple Support

If you don't have one and can't borrow one, go to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.
