Cannot log into iCloud or Photos on Gen 3 Apple TV
I can't login to either iCloud or Photos on my Gen 3 Apple TV. When I attempt to login, I insert the correct username and pw, then am asked to insert a 6-digit verification code, which I get from my phone or MBP.
Each time I get the error message "Unable to sign in: iCloud is not currently available. Try again later."
I've been logging in an out of iCloud regularly during the same period on my iPhone and MBP, so I know iCloud isn't actually unavailable.
Troubleshooting I've already performed without success:
- restarted Apple TV (removed power cable).
- disconnected ethernet connection on Apple TV and connected the Apple TV via WiFi, ensuring it was on the same network as my MBP.
