using iPhone as a trackpad for iPad

I do a lot of maths, I usually have some research paper open in my iPad, while chalk in my hand and little far away from my iPad writing some theorem on the blackboard.

It would be perfect if I could just control my iPad using my iPhone to scroll pdfs from little far away.

I know it is possible in Mac, and I use it!

but is it possible in iPad? please let me know, any information will help me. :)
