Any way to stop Auto Play of video on iPhone?

On some sites it is very easy to disable this function. The App Store is a very easy one to stop. And on others, the instructions on Apple Support do not work. [ Accessability> Motion>and leave all those choices grey to make sure they are OFF. ] But some sites will still auto-play video. This happens within the Safari browser. At work this has become an issue and we have been instructed at work to turn off the volume, or turn the device ttotally OFF on any Apple product brought into a meeting, or leave them at our desk and only bring work supplied devices to meetings. This is especially true for remote work. Any suggestions?
