Switched to Android, not receiving text messages from iPhone users
I deregistered my phone number from iMessage after I switched to an Android. Why am I not getting text messages from iPhone users?

You might have to ask the iPhone users.
Seems iPhone users would generally send messages through iMessage using wi-fi.
iPhone users would need to have a text-messaging plan in place to send texts to Android users.
They may be charged for texting using cellular, if their provider plan permits them to
