Can't update ipad to ios 16

iPadOS 16 its Coming this October. The last version of ipados is : iPadOS 15.7 (your iPad is upadate 👍)

You can wait for the release of ipados 16 (october), when iPadOS 16 will be released look if your ipad is compatible :

• ipad 5 or later
• ipad mini 5 or later
• ipad air 3 or later
• iPad Pro (all)

if your ipad is compatible with iPadOS 16, when iPadOS 16 will be released look here for update your ipad : Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (CA).

If the update doesn't appear on your device, use your computer to update your device manually. Learn how to update your device manually if you're using a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, or if you're using a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier or a Windows PC.

If a message asks to temporarily remove apps because the software needs more space for the update, tap Continue to allow apps to be removed. After installation is complete, those apps are automatically reinstalled. If you tap Cancel instead, you can delete content manually from your device to add more space.

Note that to update, your ipad may ask you:

• to be connected to a wifi network
• to have 50% or more
• to be connected to its power source

Unlike iOS16 for iPhone, released 12th September, iPadOS16 is not due for release until sometime in October. For reasons known only to Apple, release dates for iOS for iPhone and iPadOS for iPad have been deliberately staggered.

However, iPadOS 15.7 was also released 12th September - incorporating essential security updates.

While iOS16 is available for iPhone, iPhone owners have the option to just install iOS15.7 at this time.

When iPadOS16 is released, it will be available for these models of iPad:

• iPad Pro (all models)
• iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
• iPad (5th generation and later)
• iPad mini (5th generation and later)

Only the iPhone version of 16 is currently out. If your model is capable of it, wait until later this month.
