Are the SIM card size for the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone 12 Pro Max the same? Because my SIM card won’t fit inside the phone.

Yes, they are both nano sims
Confirmed by dillbert41 they should both fit are the contacts (the goldfish looking plate with lines running through it facing up or down
