I used to be able to see the Color Profile of a video with the Inspector in Finder:

But from one day to the next, this info is gone:

Does anyone know how to get this back besides fresh installing the OS?

and I KNOW I can get this from QuickTime but I have to deal with hundreds of short ecom video files and need to really quickly check some info...

Thanks

All of that info comes from metadata written to the file. If the metadata doesn't get written, it won't show up.

You don't seem to have the "Where from" metadata written to the second file. Where did it come from? If it was transferred from a drive that doesn't support metadata, that info may not get written until you open it, or it may never get written.

I have video files I burned from DVD, and they contain the metadata.

I don't know where to find one on the internet I can download to see if the metadata gets written when downloaded.
