There is no way to “recover” or remotely “reset” a device passcode.


Your ONLY option is to reset the device (completely erasing it), set it up again, and restore your data from a backup.


You WILL need your AppleID credentials.

NOTE: If your device was running an iOS PRIOR to 15.2, you’ll additionally need a cable and a computer to follow the instructions linked near the end of the article.
