Apple does not provide any documentation for Error 100, whatever that might be.

Power off your iPhone, wait a minute, then power it back up.

Try to run the update again

Remember that you will need a good strong Wi-Fi Internet connection and the iPhone battery must be charged to at least 50% or more. If you have Low Power Mode turned on, turn it off.

You cannot update using a cellular connection or a hotspot connection.

If all else fails, sometimes connecting the iPhone to a computer will allow the update to occur.

If still no luck, take the phone to the Apple Store or an authorized Apple Service shop
