Since this morning's update of my iPhone 13 Pro with the new iOS 16 there are two strange things occuring:
1-iTunes 12.12.4.1 no longer can make a manual backup. It says it cannot start a session with the phone.
2-I am also using iMazing to do backups and that software no longer works either. It pops-up a message saying "The service com.apple.mobile.diagnostics_relay is unavailable"
Any clues gents ?

Reboot your computer and try again. There is also a new build of iTunes, 12.12.5.8, you might try downloading that.

That is interesting. Your newer version was not available a couple of days ago since indeed, I had re-installed the latest version then and it was the older 12.12.4.1 only.
But I solved both problems (iTunes and iMazing) by re-installing iOS 16 over again in the iPhone. Then everything was working again. I guess I goofed somewhere along the line with some Settings and re-installing iOS entirely solved the issue.
