Face recognition fault / phone hacked by a friend

It appears to be that my iphone XS can be unlocked by one of my friends using his face identification. How is that possible? I mean isnt it a risk that someone can unlock my phone using his face recognition? It can lead to a private data leakage. . How can i resolve this? Need to contact apple. Any leads please?

Reset and change your Face ID (and your passcode) when you are alone (not when your friend is looking at your screen). Then test it again.

See point #8 in this support article:--> If Face ID isn’t working on your iPhone or iPad Pro
