I have an LG TV with Apple TV+ app loaded. The native Apple TV shows and movies are available. However, the third-party subscriptions I have via Apple TV do not pass through their subscription info. For example, the Disney+ app on the LG TV does not provide a way to restore my Disney+ subscription, which is via Apple TV. Same thing with HBOMax.
To have third party subscription services available on multiple platforms, users should subscribe directly (not in-app, but on the web) with those content providers. And cancel the existing platform-specific subscriptions.
