Brother Printer won’t scan to IMac since update
Since I updated iMac to MacOS Monterey I can’t scan from my Brother printer? How can I fix this ? Help please

It is always easier if the exact printer model is known. You may want to post back with this, and with information about how the printer is connected.
Many Brother printers can use the AirPrint technology.
About AirPrint - Apple Support
Brother recommends using AirPrint with macOS 12 Monterey, when possible. Otherwise, an app called Brother iPrint&Scan is suggested.
Generally speaking, Apple's Image Capture can be used for scanning (a driver may be needed). If nothing else works, there is a third-party commercial product called VueScan.
