One option is an adapter: USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple

Or a 3rd party adapter such as (not tested by me): https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B07CVX3516

or buy a new cable:

if your iPad has a lightning connection : USB-C to Lightning Cable (1 m) - Apple

if your iPad has a USB-C connection: USB-C Charge Cable (1 m) - Apple
