Text messages on iPad
My iPad isn’t receiving texts. My iPhone shows my cell phone number but there’s nowhere to enter it on my iPad under Send & Receive.

On your iPad, open the settings app > tap your name at the top of the list, tap the ‘Name, Phone Numbers, Email’ option > tap ‘Edit’ beside ‘Contactable At’, > tap ‘Add email or phone number’ then add your phone number.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help:
I can’t get texts from my iPhone to my iPad. My iPhone has my cell phone number but my iPad says “You can receive iMessages to and reply from” then just lists an iCloud email and my email address. There is no place to enter my cell phone.
