First, make sure you have Apple Pay and Apple Cash Setup (Set up Apple Pay - Apple Support and Set up and use Apple Cash on iPhone (U.S. only) - Apple Support)

Then, you can send, and receive using Apple Cash (Send and receive money with Apple Cash - Apple Support).
