pages update
6 hours after I initiated an update of pages (today July 26, 2022), I still get a pop up which says you can't open the application because it is being updated. Should it take that long?

I called Apple.
They said because I had upgraded my Operating System, that is why the new pages would not work. He guided me to download Pages from the App store, and within a few minutes I was up and running.
Apple support is so great!
