Getting music onto my Ipod Touch

Good Afternoon everyone,

I recently bought a new laptop, unfortunately this one comes without a CD disc tray which means I have lost the main way of putting music onto my Ipod. Could someone by good enough to suggest a method/device that will resolve this situation. Any advice/suggestions appreciated. Thanks for reading,
