How do I turn "setup new device" in wifi settings off.

Trying to talk to a thermostat and it wont allow me to connect to their wifi which is needed to use the app. Only sends me through "set up new device" and fails every time.

For anyone that has this problem, I was using the Honeywell T6 Pro. disable WAC in settings on thermostat and then connect like usual.
