How do I unlock my XR
I factory reset my iPhone XR. Now I’m trying to sell it and it’s asking for a passcode. It won’t accept the passcode I used before factory reset. How can I unlock it without a computer?

Hello Kellburn,
Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities!
Are you aware if you restored a backup to the iPhone when you completed the reset? If so, you may have set up a passcode then, or restored a passcode from that backup.
If you're unable to remember the passcode, you may be able to erase the iPhone if you know the Apple ID information that is currently signed in. Be sure to review the information below before working through the steps here: How to reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when you forgot your passcode - Apple Support
Before you reset your device
• You need to have a device that's using iOS 15.2 or iPadOS 15.2 or later.
• Your device needs to be connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network.*
• You'll need your Apple ID and password that you used to set up your device.
* If you restart your device when you see "Security Lockout" on the Lock Screen, you won't be able to reconnect to a Wi-Fi network until your device is unlocked. Cellular devices will reconnect to a cellular network if you have active service.
If you're unable to erase your iPhone using the steps of that resource, you would need to use a computer to remove the passcode. For assistance with that, check out this resource: If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support
We hope that information is able to help.
Have a great day!
