Help reducing 1TB HD for a 500GB M1

So I've managed to reduce my HD by using an external HD for my photos

I've now got 568GB available but I am guessing that it needs to go down even further for me to even think about migrating over to a 500GB machine?

Any ideas on what else I can remove?

Pretty much got the bare minimum Adobe CC, Microsoft suite and imovie (could get rid I guess)

Generally the largest files are AV in nature ... movies, videos, pictures, slide shows and such as that.

You can uninstall any 3rd party apps you wish, but they generally don't take up a lot of disk space. What you must not do is remove any system type files or folders.

Consider storing data on an external drive ... a pair of them perhaps for enhanced data security.
