There is no "native" message widget in an iPhone, unless you had a 3rd party app about that.

If, instead of "widget", you are referring to the message "icon", this one:

and if you accidentally moved that icon to a different screen page, you can move it back to the home screen from App Library, using these instructions: Find your apps in App Library on iPhone – Apple Support (UK)
