Hi! I am using audio interface Motu M2 with garage band, no problem recording instrument but difficulty with microphone, the recording volume is very low even when i put the gain to max. Any idea?

Oh Do U love ur interface , I never have bought or used one , especially with GarageBand…
but my issues are Getting My music as Open Projects to A Safe place backup,
I cloud is not working for me, but back up Safe to a Harddrive but they come out on my Mac as a read file , I use iPhone with garage and a Mackbook that will not allow GarageBand versions to upload anymore I guess, So I also want to Get All My Projects Made and Import Them into a real Recording DAW Program like FL Studio or Ableton live 9..

The volume is on the audio interface, I have 2 entries one for keyboard and the other one for mic.
Yes I tried to turn on the 48v, when it is on and I plug in the mic, it goes off
Is the volume OK with the computer's microphone?
Do you need phantom power?
Have you tried pressing the 48 V phantom power button?
I change the wire for an XLR now the 48v is working, the sound is also better. Someone suggest to me to buy a studio microphone. Thank you for your help.
XLR wire for mic is better, but I was told that a studio min is even better.
