Red number 1 dot on app located on the app dock

Why do I have a red number 1 on an app on the app dock? There are no updates and nothing that I can find inside of the app that needs my attention.

In such a situation, I suggest that you contact that app's developer/support team and ask them.

What app is that?

If you're sure it has no notifications, try a forced restart of your iphone, using these instructions:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support

Thanks, I did do that and it did not fix the problem. I also deleted the app and reinstalled it and that didn’t fix it either.
