If you've a backup to iCloud, that may help. Or one on Mac/PC

with USB/Lightning cable; could be useful to restore backups.

..Not certain exactly what gets over-written during iOS updates..

Mine always backed up w/ iCloud; that only uses 2.7GB.

Still have a little left over, from free 5GB Apple provides.

There may be something in your iCloud account to check.
