I have my Silent Mode on and some apps are producing sound. For example I have it on but when I check my security camera notification it shows video clip with the sound fully on. I have had videos come on auto play in full sound when in silent mode at very awkward times. Am I doing something wrong?

When silent mode is on, iPhone doesn’t ring or play alerts. However, alarms and media/audio will still play sound through the built-in speaker, even when silent mode is on. You'll need to adjust volume in Control Center before playing media/audio: Adjust the volume on iPhone - Apple Support
