how to reset zoom view on a locked iphone

An elderly person changed the view to zoom mode on iPhone 12 and now the lock screen view is way too big to be able to input the passcode or slide to unlock using Face ID. In this situation, we're not able to unlock the phone at all. Is there a way to bypass the zoomed view and input the passcode? Any help will be highly appreciated.

If you can't access Settings because your Home screen icons are magnified, double tap with three fingers on the display to zoom out. Then to turn off Zoom, go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom, then tap to turn Zoom off. For more info, see:
