One can follow the very good advise from Previous posting regarding Etrecheck Application. Just remember to run in Full Disc Access mode
Though, there has been no mention as to below list of applications. Not important, they will show up in the Etrecheck Report if installed
Ad Guard installed or any the the below applications
All should be Removed as per Developers Instructions
This will included Norton Antivirus

Download and run this app so we can find more information about your installation.
It shows what is launched and other information and is very useful in finding causes of problems. After you first launch the app make sure you check Enable full disk access in the box in lower left.
After running the app use the app's feature to paste to clipboard. Then paste it in the text box for a reply in this forum click on the addition text icon. This is because the normal reply text box limits how much you can type.
No personal identifiable information is contained if the app output. The app was written for a person who is contributor to these Apple Support Communities
Apple Mail >> Preferences and Privacy Tab and uncheck any or all Options in picture below.
Further, update Monterey to latest version 12.2.1
Thank you for your reply, but I decided not to install EtreCheck after finding out that "Due to a recent change in Apple's Mac App Store policies, EtreCheck in the Mac App Store has been discontinued and will no longer be supported or upgraded"
Interesting that people, in general, will download harmful applications, like those listed in earlier posting, but will not install a well known and reported that Etrecheck Application has been used by Apple Support to perform the same actions being suggest on this question.
Thanks to all of those who replied. I appreciate all the suggestions. Didn't mean to hit a nerve. I don't have any of the applications listed in the earlier posting installed. The only reason I didn't install EtreCheck was because it would no longer be supported.
Download Directly from the Developer will provide the More Robust version of said Application.
The version on the Apple Apps Store is hobbled by Apple and will not perform and proved a much more robust will of the Hardware and Software on this computer.
Even without the Listed Application installed - there are may other aspects of Software in play.
That is all up to the user to decide what is Best for their situation.
I updated Privacy settings and re-started my Macbook Air but the issue remains. I will update Monterey OS to 12.2.1 in a few minutes.
Just updated to Monterey 12.2.1 and the issue remains. It was also there when I started in Safe Mode.
Thanks!
