I have aseries 5 watch and just purchased aniPhone 13 pro.
I have paired the watch to the phone following the set up instructions carefully.
tThen I went to find the watch app on my new phone and it's not there.
WHAT'S HAPPENED

When you have the iPhone open it is the method you use to search for things. Put your finger in a blank spot around the center of the screen and swipe downwards. That brings up the search at the top of the screen. That is Spotlight. I'm glad you were able to locate it in the App Library and get it back on the home screen.
Did you try a spotlight search for it? Or, you can go to the App Library on the last screen, find the Watch app, then press and hold and move it to a home screen of your choice.
It may sound stupid but what is a spotlight search?
