Apple TV resume episode but no video, only audio.

When I open Apple TV on my Macbook (2019) and resume an episode I only get audio. The screen remains on the home page. I have to close the app and restart.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.1

The TV app on Mac has the main app window, and a separate player window. Verify that the player window isn’t behind the other window.

It seems to go behind the app. Not an easy minimize. It seems to be faster to close and open. Apple needs to kind of learn what is an "established" interface... Make it a little easier. Maybe browser rather than app? I'll survive and thanks for your reply.
