I have been dealing with a Logic Pro advisor by imessage, but suddenly it wont open.
I have Googled this and ut says to go to imessage preferences, but it wont even open that bit, its greyed out, and I have this message each time. any pointers appreciated.
I'd trash whatever is related to "Messages" app in /Library/Caches and also in /Library/Preferences, then reboot and see if that fixes the app. There's also a "Saved Application State" folder in /Library, so remove "Messages" related files from it too, I guess.

I couldn't find anything related to messages in Library Caches or Preferences, But there was a folder called messages, so I trashed that and rebooted, seems to have fixed the issue!
