Hi Bobhjf, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.


One reason for your In-app purchases may not be permitted could be a setting in Screen Time.


Can you please go to: Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > ITunes & App Store Purchases and check that In-app Purchases is allowed.
